My favorite piece of jewelry that I own is an 18 inch pearl necklace that was given to me at birth by my paternal grandmother. Every year on my birthday she would buy and add another inch on to the necklace. As a child, this wasn't an exciting gift to receive on my birthday, but by the time I was 18, and right before she passed away, I had 18 inches of gorgeous pearls! This is a timeless piece that I will treasure forever. And I hope to be able to do the same for my grandchildren one day.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a diamond pendant necklace that my Mom had made for me for my 16th birthday. The actual diamond is from her engagement ring to my Dad, who passed away when I was 5 so it is extra special. :)

i wear a tiffany's ring everyday that my bf gave me for 1 year. but i am kinda obsessed with jewelry so i might just have to pick every single piece in my vintage jewelry box.

hmmm ....
my favorite piece of jewelry ... you may as well ask me which of my nieces / nephew is my favorite.
i have a TON of favorite pieces, but all of them have one thing in common ... they belonged to my mother. she had great taste in jewelry (as did the rest of the women in her family who passed jewelry down to her!), and every time I wear something of hers, I somehow feel that she's with me. corny, i know, but it's true!
so much fun meeting you at church ... LOVE your blog, and HAD to comment, because i saw the little owl hairpins and earrings and would love to claim them as my own. I know ... owls. so predictable!
take care!

My favorite piece of jewelry is the cross necklace little c gave me. It was really thoughtful and totally my style. It reminds me what we want to center our relationship on and how sweet little c is.

Fun!
My favorite piece of jewelry is definitely my engagement ring. It's a one of a kind... my husband bought it while in Italy studying abroad. I wasn't expecting any ring at all since he was saving to move to KY and when he proposed (on my trip to visit him in Italy) I melted. It reminds me of a time in my life that seems like a dream... but I have the evidence to prove that night existed!
Thanks Hannah! This is fun!

My favorite peice of jewelry would be my great-great aunts wedding band. It's just a plain gold band that is like a size 4!! I wear it as a pinky ring. Its has her and her husband's initials on the inside. I like it because was so special to someone else and has this great history to it. And its super cute with other gold rings and bangles.

my grandmother gave me a strand of pearls that my grandpa had given her after a mission trip to Japan many years ago. I love how he has always brought her back a piece of jewelry for every trip around the world and I also love that she passed down this particular piece for my high school graduation.
